Never Let Your Weakness for Others Overpower Your Love for Self

Gratitude should always be greater than attitude.
But the greatest should always be the love for self.

  1. Very true Sir, I hope everyone understand it in very early stage. But what I believe is that if you love someone, your love for him or her(in most cases) should be soo passionate that thing which you are mentioning never comes in mind. Then it is his or her responsibility to take care of you n your self-esteem.

  2. I agree with Rugan .. not because he is my ... but because we primarily live to be happy and our key of happiness, self esteem etc should always be in our hands and nobody else .. not even your loved ones .. absolutely nobody. It is our utmost responsibility to keep ourselves happy.
To expect something in return of love is a dangerous ploy. If the love is returned we handover the keys to our happiness to some one else and if we dont we are not happy. Either case we lose.

    1. I appreciate your support, sir.
It's heartening that people do think like this.

  3. Thanx Ashutosh for poring over the post.

First off, I'm no sir, sir.
Coming to your thought out comment, I respect your thoughts. However to be passionate is very different and much better than being blind.

Even though love, stand alone, is blind, but if the one in love is blind, so blind so that s/he doesn't even see the other person's blunders (not mistakes, they can be ignored at times), then either the relationship or the sightless, is destined to degrade. You see, if one follows the later point, and the blunders which ultimately make a negative impact on the relation itself are left disregarded (traveling a bit ahead on your path), the relation won't go far.

A bit extreme, but a fitting example:
You meet a girl, she tells you about her father. A person who abuses her on a daily basis. She has a choice of shifting permanently to her aunt's home and never see the person ever again, who's a pretty nice lady.

What would you suggest her to do? Anybody humane would certainly advice for the later.
But one may say, her father is the person who gave birth to her for Crissakes. If he weren't there, she wouldn't even exist in this world. Shouldn't she be gratifying towards that person?

This one has a relation of blood, if this isn't cool then, no offense, but what position does a relation of love with an outsider holds?
